Borrow-a-Box Rental Agreement |
- TERMS OF RENTAL AGREEMENT: The renter is renting boxes and/or moving supplies from Borrow-a-Box. The rental fee as stated is payable in advance from the time of commencement, start time to end time.
- DELIVERY: To the address specified by customer. The customer grants Borrow-a-Box the right to enter the property at the said address for the delivery and the pick-up address to pick-up equipment at the specified time. Only release the equipment to a Borrow-a-Box employee.
- TRANSPORTATION EXPENSE: Except as provided herein, all charges in delivering and subsequent pick with respect to the delivery/pick-up address are included in the rental fee. In the event the equipment is not returned at the appointed time by the customer to Borrow-a-Box, then a $30.00 transportation fee shall be automatically imposed.
- MAINTENANCE: The customer agrees to keep the equipment in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear excepted.
- ALTERATION AND ATTACHMENTS: No alteration in or attachments to equipment will be made without prior written approval of Borrow-a-Box.
- WARRANTY: Borrow-a-Box warrants that the equipment leased under this Rental Agreement will be in good working order on the effective date of the Rental Agreement. Equipment is supplied and maintained subject to this warranty. Borrow-a-Box’s obligation under this Rental Agreement is limited to repair or replacement of the equipment when the customer determines that it does not conform to this warranty.
- TITLE: The customer agrees to keep the equipment in his/her custody and not to sublease, rent, sell, remove from the delivery address, or otherwise transfer such equipment. Equipment will remain the property of the customer and may be removed any time after the termination of this Rental Agreement.
- RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Indemnification. I Agree to indemnify and hold you, your officers, agents and employees harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, losses, cost and expense, including attorneys; fees, for all injuries or death of any person. Or damage to any property occurring or arising from or connected with directly or indirectly, my possession, use and return of any of the equipment. The customer shall be in charge of the equipments operation, and is fully responsible for its operation as well as the return of the equipment in good working order. Borrow-a-Box and its officers, employees and agents is/are not responsible for injury occurring to the customer or to any other persons using equipment, and the customer further agrees to hold Borrow-a-Box and its officers, employees and agents free and harmless against any injury of property claims. The customer shall indemnify the Borrow-a-Box and its officers, employees and agents from/against any cost incurred due to claims from anyone and for attorney’s fees and related costs involving the use and return of the equipment, should any legal action become necessary.
- Cancellation policy. Borrow-a-Box maintains the right to charge a cancellation charge for any rental reservation that is cancelled at any time after submission of a reservation.
- PRIVACY: Borrow-a-Box will not under any circumstance share any customer personal information with any other party at any time. As per the Protection of Personal Information Act, Borrow-a-Box will ensure that all personal customer information is kept safe and not accessible to any third party.
- ENTIRE AGREEMENT: The Rental Agreement constitutes the full agreement between Borrow-a-Box and the customer. Time is of the essence in this Rental Agreement. The receipt of the equipment that is subject of this Rental Agreement is in good working order and repair and is so acknowledged by the customer. I agree this agreement is our entire agreement and may not be changed without our mutual written consent.
